I grew up among the flat meadows of northern Germany, where open skies and shifting seasons quietly shaped the way I see the world. In 2015, life’s winding course carried me to Aotearoa, where I now live in the Tasman region - surrounded by animals, trees, and the ever-present rhythm of nature.

My work is a dialogue between curiosity and creation, blending my lifelong fascination with the natural world and its creatures with a background in fine arts and design. Through the camera, I seek not just to record, but to transform fleeting moments into visual stories - where light becomes brushstroke, and stillness becomes narrative.

Photography - phōtographía - means “drawing with light.” To me, it is less a definition than a reminder: that every image begins in shadow, takes shape in illumination, and ultimately reveals something both seen and felt.
